Artist Note
I’ve been painting since childhood, inspired by the artists in my family and certainly as a tool for emotional regulation. My latest work, “Our Hot Friends Series,” started during COVID when my closest friends shared intimate photos with me, celebrating their bodies in moments of sexual embodiment. I was inspired by the topography of curves and dramatic lighting <3 and especially by their trust in sharing these private moments with me.
